Corey joined the Firm in May 2009. He represents candidates for public office, political action committees, ballot issue groups, corporations, public officials, and governmental bodies in matters involving election law, campaign finance, and political issues. Since joining the Firm, he has appeared regularly before the Ohio Elections Commission and Board of Elections across the State.
Prior to joining the Firm, Corey worked at both a large and mid-sized Columbus firms where he had extensive experience representing municipalities in a wide range of matters including government affairs, annexations, eminent domain, zoning and land use, elections and referendum issues, public records and open meetings laws and civil litigation defense. He has served as the Assistant Law Director and Prosecutor for multiple cities and villages in Central Ohio including Dublin, New Albany, Powell, and Canal Winchester among others.
Prior to attending law school, Corey worked at the Statehouse from 1993 to 1996 where he was an intern with the Ohio Governor’s Office, the Ohio Senate, and with a State Representative.
